My flatmates and I decided to book a last minute ‘flat trip’ to Italy’s capital, Rome. As we looked on our respective computers, the prices on Pat’s screen were cheaper than any of the rest of ours so we decided it made sense for him to book all 4 of our tickets. When we received our confirmation emails, we suddenly realised why they were cheaper – he’d booked them five weeks away, not one week away! To make matters worse, Pat had a uni quiz on which meant he couldn’t end up coming. In the process of selling his ticket, we ended up extending our group from just the flat to about ten others – and it was awesome! Such a fun weekend away.
