Potentially one of the easiest recipes in the world, but one of those recipes that you mayn’t think to create without someone telling you that it really is tasty, and chilli with broccoli makes for a delicious combination. Broccoli is one of my favourite foods – I frequently just boil or steam a batch to supplement any meal I plan on having throughout the week: it is packed so tightly with nutrients/vitamins that I figure you can never have enough. Here is a simple recipe which offers an option to mix up the way your broccoli is cooked.
- 1 T olive oil
- 1 bunch of broccoli
- 1 chilli
- Salt & Pepper
- Fry the broccoli in a covered pan with the oil and the salt and pepper.
- Add the chilli after 5 minutes and continue to cook until it is as soft/crunchy as you like.
