Maina (1 Havelock Road)
No longer the new kid on the block, Maina replaced what used to be The Post. During its transformation it endured a revamp, whereby it is now spacious and light. The tables are decorated with bunches of flowers which further increases the quaintness of the place. The breakfast menu is relatively limited, not that it matters as everything tastes so good. It has been a favourite cafe of mine to visit when I come home. Dad also has his work’s Christmas party there last year, and was full of appreciation to the staff for the excellent hospitality and food across the night. I recently had dinner there and was impressed by the diverse selection of entrees, main, desserts and pizza. Everything was of to a very high quality, and presented so beautifully.
