Review: No 7 Balmac

This little gem sits up on Maori Hill, slightly out of the centre city. The menu has all of the classics (bacon and eggs, french toast, smashed avocado etc) at prices maybe a few dollars more than what you would expect, but with flavours that make the prices palatable.

It is pretty big and has loads of natural light, making it a ideal spot for a sunny brunch or a cosy afternoon with coffee and cake. Speaking of cake there were so many options to choose from! The cabinet array was super scrumptious, with so many exciting choices. I was too full to have dessert, but I would have gone for one of the donuts – although they sell out so quickly, I’m not even sure if there would have been any left.
